Weatherization 101

Weatherization 101 is an introduction to weatherization programs, particularly the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) from the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) through the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The course covers the history, importance, and processes of weatherization projects, as well as relevant DOE and state agency standards. By completing this course, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of weatherization programs, their importance, and the standards that govern them, preparing them for further specialized training in the field.
