Green LA Girl Blog

The Green LA Girl blog is a really cool resource that my brother just sent to me today.

Evidently, the author is from California, and she used to write for the Los Angeles Times. It probably doesn’t hurt to live in the green capital of the world: Los Angeles.

Places like Charlotte seem to take the “wait and see” approach to progressive issues such as the green movement. It’s probably a more practical approach (ie. not trendy), but then again, it also means that nothing ever seems to change. With enough people moving to the area from the northeast, I’m hopeful that might start to change over the next 10 years or so.

With a little luck, by the year 2018, everyone in Charlotte will drive solar-powered hover cars and will know what good pizza tastes like. On second thought, I have a feeling hover cars will get to the area long before good pizza. It must be something in the water.
