Happy Spring everyone! Here at Everblue, we are very excited to announce that this summer, there is an outstanding opportunity for a surge of new construction to boom throughout the country. This influx of productivity means more jobs for construction workers in all fields. However, more construction increases the likelihood of injury, and it is an unfortunate possibility that an injury in the workplace could be caused by poor handling of safety requirements. Thanks to the Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA), job-related injury and fatality numbers have dropped dramatically. Since OSHA began, the standards it has set forth have helped to ensure that each occupation provides the safest work environment possible for its employees.
Because of the difference OSHA’s principles have made on the job, an OSHA certified training course, also known as Outreach Training program, is a requirement for employees and employers in the field of construction. At Everblue, we are happy to offer two versions of online OSHA training: OSHA 10 Hour and OSHA 30 Hour.
These training webinars allow you the flexibility of completing the course at a time that pleases you. Attending a live two-day class could interfere with a demanding job such as construction, but webinars provide the convenience of simply logging in and resuming from where you last paused. After the completion of the training program, OSHA awards trainees with a wallet card that verifies they were present for the course.
If you work in the construction industry, you are responsible for the safety of both yourself and others on the job. Trust Everblue to provide you with the best training available to strengthen your knowledge of OSHA standards and succeed in making your workplace a safer and healthier environment for everyone.
If you think your job puts your life in danger, contact OSHA directly for help. You can help make more construction work zones become safe zones.
